Manuel Turizo (full name Manuel Turizo Zapata) is an urbano and reggaeton singer songwriter and multi-instrumentalist from Colombia whose trademark is his smooth buttery tenor singing voice. He is a major player within his part of the Latin mainstream. Una Lady Como Tu, the song that he released in 2016, was awarded the Colombian Kids Choice Award in 2017 for Favorite Song. In Medellin, Sony distributed La Industria Inc. and then released ADN for his debut full-length album. On the Top Latin Albums chart, it reached No. 8. Vaina Loca, which was an album that was a Top Five smash hit in 2010 featured him along with Ozuna. In the year 2020, he worked with Noriel on Mala Influencia and released the album Dopamina that year. Later in 2021 he performed an duet with TINI's smash streaming track Maldita Foto. 2000 also saw the huge song La Bachata appeared in 2023. Turizo is a renowned musician, born into a musical family. His parents and brothers were both musicians. According to him, musicality was a mandatory element of his existence. When he was young, he taught how to play the piano, guitar and the ukulele. Though his original career plan was that of veterinarian, his brother Julian advised him to begin studying singing with an instructor in Cuban. It revolutionized his entire life.
