Ana Gonzales bio
Ana Gonzalez de Jorgenson grew up in Mexico in a family who was passionate about music. When she was a kid, she listened to a lot of classical music and old Boleros. In addition, she was a fan of traditional romantic ballads and ranchero. Ana enjoys tangos operas and other dramatic performances. She began singing and learning songs with her mother she began her more intensive singing training when she was 16 under the renown Mexican tenor Flavio Becerra. Her musical education continued at the School of Music of the University of Guadalajara, and afterwards in the School of Sacred Music in Toluca, Mexico. In Guadalajara along with Mexico City, she was a member of many opera ensembles as well as chamber groups. After moving to the United States, she performed with the Fort Lauderdale Symphony Chorus. In 2002, she made her way to southern California. She currently performs traditional Latin American songs at private occasions as a soloist. The love she has for performing, music, and the arts keep her engaged in local projects both as an artist and educator. Ana was a former member of Community Chorus of Redlands (as well being a member of the Inland Master Chorale) and Performance Loft. Ana is grateful to the Inland Master Chorale for the permission to sing the traditional Latin American song.
