Maggie Grace was born Margaret Grace Denig on September 21 in 1983. She is an American Actress best known as Shannon Rutherford in ABC TV show Lost. Following the divorce of her parents the actress left Worthington, Ohio to live at Los Angeles. In 2001, despite her financial struggles it was possible to secure her first big part in the web-based video show Rachel's Room as the principal character. Her performance as Martha Moxley, a 15-year-old victim of murder in the TV movie Murder in Greenwich in 2002 earned her an award nomination for the Young Artist Award. In 2004 Grace was selected to portray Shannon Rutherford in the television show Lost in which she was the main character for the initial two seasons winning an Screen Actors Guild Award shared with the cast of the ensemble.
